Miu Miu Rock The Runway In Black Chic.

leave a comment »

It was March 10th and Paris was buzzing with excited viewers getting ready for Miuccia Prada to preview her hot collection. Kicking off with an elegant LBD, the catwalk was heaving with beautiful embellished pieces all applauded by the hooked audience.

One of our favourite pieces was a mid-thigh length coat, decorated with hundreds of sparkly sequins teamed with unique black heels. It was elegant & sophisticated and really showed off Jac’s (model) pins. Miuccia Prada didn’t fail to thank her audience for their approval, as she popped out the corner of the curtain giving a gentle wave.

Miu Miu rocked it. Well when do they not?

Hermes’ Leather Chic!

leave a comment »

Jean Paul Gaultier (HERMES) & Lily Cole

It was March 10th in the Fashion French Capital Paris, when Hermes showcased their collection featuring layers and layers off soft leather. Lily Cole kicked off the show in a soft tight leather suit, emphasizing her tall slim frame, followed by Karlie Kloss who’s shiny handbag matched her short skirt impeccably. Black was the main colour at the start of the show, a goths paradise. Although the collection wasn’t without a little splash of colour change, as halfway through Jean Paul Gaultier added beige, deep reds and browns to his line, creating a tailored old fashioned women’s vibe; perfect for the elegant meetings at the office.

J P Gaultier didn’t fail to disappoint in Paris, well he doesn’t disappoint in any of his runway shows, as he is in fact a pure fashionista. Congrats J P!

Clothes By Celine (Style.com)

Military, we’re talking dark green jackets, biker boots, leather and camouflage; but the classy way! The military look was spread all other the runway this winter/spring like an infectious disease; which we’re aiming to catch too. Also note that this includes broad shoulders, which means we need to get our hands on a army styled buttoned up jacket from Topshop. Celine featured a classic but military look on the runway, with a mid-thigh length medium shoulder padded black dress teamed with bold black wedges. Creating this look is simple, just don’t go into military camp overload!

Topshop are behind the military look, with their classic black biker jacket. Team this with some Black Skinny Jeans and a Mischa Barton Pyramid Clutch Bag to finish off the chic dark military style.

ASOS Pyramid Clutch £35

Topshop Spray On Jamie Jeans £40

The ’3 Strikes & You’re Out!’ Trend.

leave a comment »

Clothes By Emilio Pucci (Style.com)

The Olympics are due to start in Two years time, and what better way to kick of the ball of excitement then to follow this seasons ‘game’ trend by mixing business with pleasure. Designers are already busy designing their ‘match of the day’ outfits, with Alexander Wang already in the game with his latest American football collection. Ralph Lauren have been at it for years, designing cute tennis looks for both male and females, although Ralph particularly designates his tennis look to the tennis players, not the olympic trend hunters. Another man already in the Zed4Fashion favourite’s list is Pucci’s Peter Dundas, who compiled a dress inspired by his love of Scuba diving – and fashion of course! Themed patterns also related to the olympic trend, are equally effective and work some what better than the original sport idea.

This Water Aquatic inspired Jumpsuit from ASOS works perfectly and is bang on trend. Team with Red shoe boots and a little Red clutch to make a bigger colour dash impact.

Red Snake Prunella Snake Clutch £549

ASOS Suede Zip Front Shoe £40.00

ASOS Stardusted Playsuit £30.0
